The MADdotNET User Group hosts THREE meetings a month!

1st Wed. of Month: Presentation Meeting | 5:30-8pm | (Herzing #120)
Deep dive into a .NET topic from the premier .NET presenters from Microsoft and Industry.  Free pizza and prizes!  Encourange everyone to arrive at Herzing College (5218 East Terrace Drive, Madison - Room #120) prior to 5:30 PM to connect with other developers, and the presentation starts promptly at 6PM.

2nd Wed. of Month: .NET Lunch | 11:45am-1pm | (Alt'n Bach's)
We meet at Alt-n-Backs Pub for a great lunch starting at 11:45, and host an open discussion on .NET topics. (2602 Whalen Lane Madison, WI)  Great way for those looking to meet other .NET developers to stay in touch.

3rd Wed. of Month: ALL.NET Meeting | 5:30-8pm | (Herzing #120)
ALL.NET is an open meeting focusing on "Micro" presentation, those being shorter talks on .NET topics of interest - great way to talk about something you created, found or something that you just have questions on!  This is YOUR time to come and tap the minds and share with some of the other top developers in our area!  Great way to solve the problems you're facing at work and come back looking like a .NET rock star!  And everyone always learns something. :)

Before heading out - always confirm the events on the Events Calendar and/or watch the Blog entries below!

The original idea was proposed by Curt, which was a
website to connect developers working on projects, with testers. This
was expanded somewhat to include designers as well. The definitions of
these roles is still up in the air, as well as what all the roles will
be, but the mian idea is a way for people with various backgrounds to
connect on a professional level to do some type of work.Everyone will
be able to leave feedback and rate each other for the work they did,
building up rep, getting awards, etc (yeah, kind of like stack
overflow). The project is not looking to "compete" against say
codeplex or google code, in that we won't be hosting projects, or
source code directly. Integration with these sites is something we
talked about, but is not something we will be able to do in the short
term.
