Special Interest Groups (SIG) Minimize

Special Interest Groups ( abbreviated SIG ) allow member of the user group to focus on particular technologies in a more hands-on peer-to-peer environment.  SIGs can meet the same night of our general user group meetings or have be on their own night - look at the calendar of events for specifics.  We encourage everyone to be involved and take away as much as they can from SIGs of interest.  And if you are interested in starting a new SIG - please just contact us!

TFS SIG Team Foundation Server SIG
"Team Foundation Server (commonly abbreviated TFS) is a Microsoft offering for source control, data collection, reporting, and project tracking, and is intended for collaborative software development projects. It is available either as stand-alone software, or as the server side back end platform for Visual Studio Team System (VSTS)."

The TFS SIG members are utilizing the Virtual Hard Drive  (VHD) and VMware Player so everyone can load this on their laptops - and we can work through some of the TFS labs as we discover the features that TFS can offer us as developers / project managers and architects.
